I've "deleted" user's mailbox today by using Exchange Task Wizard and I thought it will go into disconnected list but I can't find it there and I forgot to look up his mailbox location . Is there any tool / commandlet that I can run on one of our Exchange 2007 mail servers to see this user's old mailbox location (store or database). I have a backup but I need to know where exactly his old mailbox was located yesterday, otherwise I'll have to do 32 restores today and manually look for his mailbox in each restored storage group. It would turn my day into hell .

Thanks in advance.

I've been able to figure out which server from his old Outlook profile on user's PC. But I still have to do 7 restores then since there are 7 storage groups on each. Glad I've narrowed that from 32 to 7 at least .

clean-mailboxdatabase  - but I cannot remember what the disconnected mailbox reads like - whether or not it gives you the location/edb or not.

do a

get-mailboxdatabase | clean-mailboxdatabase and see what you get.

Thanks! I thought that clean-mailboxdatabase actualyl disconnects the mailboxes from AD account as was done with Run mailbox Cleanup. But the time we used that it was on isolated server and AD users where not attached.
