We have a customer who has an Exchange 2003 server, that is configured in a way, so that a copy of all incomming mails also get delivered to the Inbox of one particular user. They asked us to change this.
On Exchange 2003 Users admin console, we see nothing described in the 'delivery options', where you could actually define a mailbox to deliver a copy of each message of that mailbox to antoerh mailbox. So it was configured in some other way. When we do message tracking on a message, we only see it delivered into the mailbox of a certain user, and not to that routed mailbox. If you configure delivery options, like described in the previous paragraph, this would show you in message tracking that it gets delivered to the recipient and also forwarded or a copy to another mailbox.
Has anyone done this in the past, a similar config? Can this be done by policy?

The place to look is at the Mailbox Store properties. Sounds like Archiving (a.k.a. journaling) has been activated. Open the ESM, drill down to the Mailbox Store and look at the General tab of the properties.
