Dear Expert, The Queue Viewer in Exchange 2007 show that the email that I sent-out almost 12 hours still being stuck in the queue. FYI, I'm using the correct recipient email address. The next day, I get this notification in my Outlook 2003 mail: This message has not yet been delivered. Microsoft Exchange will continue to try delivering the message on your behalf. Delivery of this message will be attempted until 2/22/2008 5:12:08 PM (GMT+08:00) Kuala Lumpur, Singapore. Microsoft Exchange will notify you if the message can't be delivered by that time. Before that I tried to send email from my Outlook to yahoo or gmail account and from yahoo or gmail to my Outlook it ok! Can somebody tell us why the system can't sent email to certain recipient & sometimes takes longer time to deliver? Regards, Shamsul

There can be any number of reasons why the messages are not delivered, and many of them are not under your control... - routing error at your ISP or the recipients ISP - the receiving server is rejecting the message - the receiving server is not alive - the receiving server cannot be connected. You will have to look at the domain with the errors and use some of the online tools to see why they are failing. I wrote an SMTP diagnostics page for my web site which may help: http://www.amset.info/exchange/smtp-diag.asp Simon.
