Small company and of course trying to save money.  I haven't done anything with Exchange since 5.5 so I am way out of the loop.  I guess I am looking for any thoughts and concerns that the guru's have concerning my upcoming implementation.

Currently all mail is ran through my Barracuda and then released to my generic pop/imap server.  The need for BlackBerry usage and and all the calendaring collabaration is requiring me to take the leap to Exchange.

The make up of my project is 3 different companies each with a domain for their own email.

aaa.com is only 2 people, simple enough.

bbb.com is roughly 50 people, with more then 30 in the field only requiring pop3 access from time to time, the rest is office staff with the need for Exchange and BlackBerrys.

ccc.com is around 10 people right now, but in 3 different locations and in 3 different states with similar req's to bbb.com

Can I get away with 1 server internally with port forwarding for all this, and use the hosting guides around here?  I guess MS hasn't released offical docs yet.

I would need OWA, POP3 as well as the desktop Outlook software working of the server.

Does the internal server have to be a member server or can this all work standalone with the ADAM software.

I would like to save the money of another server with ISA (really needed?) and the Edge component.  I do care about performance and security of course.  2007 is very scalable but very daunting when your just jumping into it.

Thanks for any thoughts and the replies
