I not sure if this can be done or not. But I would like to disable an email address template on my email address policy. The reason being that it is keeping me from setting the default "reply to" address. This is the error that I'm getting when trying to update the policy:

Summary: 2 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed.
Elapsed time: 00:00:00

Edit EXCHANGE
Failed

Error:
The e-mail address policy object "EXCHANGE" is invalid because it contains invalid e-mail address templates: 'MS:RACAL/EXCHANGE'.
To view details of the error, see the application event log in the Windows Event Viewer on the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.

Exchange Management Shell command attempted:
set-EmailAddressPolicy -Instance 'EXCHANGE'

Elapsed Time: 00:00:00

Apply EXCHANGE
Cancelled

FYI...Nothing shows up in Event Viewer regarding this.... Is there a cmdlet to disable the MS:RACAL/EXCHANGE template. It looks to be a carry over from the Exchange 5.5 days. If there isn't a disable command, would there be a problem with just simply deleting it from the address policy?

Thanks

Hi,

Deleting is the only thing that will solve the issue:

- open the emc
- open organization configuration
- select the hub server
- select the e-mail address policy
- edit the default policy
- remove the invalid entry

Look if the warning doesn't happen anymore/
