I have specific departmental public folders created that work fine, except for the fact that there is another folder called IPM_SUBTREE, within that folder there is copies of all the folders that were origianlly created under the public folder list.
Is it okay to delete this, or will it take all my other folders with it ?? I don't have a clue what cuased this.
Thanks for any info.... help is required here please

Sounds like someone took a backup of the public folders to a pst file and then imported it back to the PF structure. You will notice that if you create a backup of a certain PF to a pst file (open it in Outlook to see for yourself) the backup will keep a link of the structure beginning with a path called IPM_SUBTREE. Just move the needed PF's to the right place in the PF hierarchy and then delete IPM_SUBTREE.
