Add the domain to accepted domains, then create an email address policy. Both in EMC, Org Config, Hub Transport. I believe the steps are also in the quick start guide that is presented to you when you first open Exchange Management Console. Simon.

Thank you that plus adding anonymous to the default mail connector helped I can now receive emails perfectly. Now I need to send emails. When ever I send them I get no error but it never gets there. I opnened ports 25, 110, 137, 443 on my firewall for that server. Thank you

You don't need these ports to send email: 110, 137, 443 Only port 25 is required. Can you telnet to any remote SMTP servers? telnet maila.microsoft.com 25 It would have helped if you outlined that this was a new installation, as I would have pointed you to a different article on a single server installation from the msexchangeteam blog. Simon.
