Download emails to Outlook 2007 on server

I use the web interface for our exchange server. I recently installed outlook 2007 and set it to download all emails, but also leave them on the server so I can see them via webmail as well.

This worked fine for the Inbox, but for a few other folders I created ( such as 'saved emails' ) the emails in those folders weren't downloaded. How can I get it to download those emails as well?

Which method do you use to retrieve mails ? If using pop3 this is normal. In that case switch to the Exchange type in Outlook this will sync all folders.

I'm using POP3.

If I use the exchange type will I still be able to leave the emails on the server? The exchange server is 2003 ( the Outlook is 2007 ).

Yes Exchange constantly sync, you can turn on the option to make mail offline available so you can even read it if you don't have connection to the Exchange server.

I just want to make sure if I download it to Outlook that it will still be available on the web.
