Hi,

We are a new Exchange 2003 site. Testing with a few users show duplicate emails are being generated intermittently. These are occurring via Pop3 and IMAP. Traffic into the exchange server shows only one email message. But nearly 50 % of the emails downloaded to the client are duplicated at the client. We are using Outlook 2003 as the mail client.

Anyone seen this?

Yes. We have been having the same problem for a year now. I have found many things that can supposedly cause this but none of them have tested to be the problem.

If you find an answer, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Then, I might be encountering this problem this coming week. We'll be upgrading from Exchange V5.5 to V6.5(2003). Lets see whether I can duplicate your problems.
