We are running Exchange SP3 on W2K server, we get a lot of mail being sent from people who are not in our organization, bit new to Exchange and I can't see where or how this would be happening. I have turned off the open relaying (I think!) as per the articles on this site but its still happening. Anyone got any suggestions?

TIA

J

Sounds like a virus/worm using spoofed (randomly chosen e-mail addresses.

Could you inform what some of these e-mail messages contain ?
