Hello, I am running out of disk space on a E2007 server. I am wondering if I can move the existing queue databases logging path to a shared location and I can modify the above mentioned file accordingly. If not, can I delete old log files? With kind regards, WVR

Since circular logging is enabled on queue databases in Exchange 2007 by default, I assume you mean protocol logging? If yes then please bear in mind that you only should have protocol logging enabled during troubleshooting etc.

Hello Henrik, I do not mean protocol logging. If you look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125177.aspx you know what I mean: I want to place the queue database transaction logs on a shared folder, like \\server\logs or something like that. The value of 'QueueDatabaseLoggingPath' should be refer to a local path, but maybe there is a way to do it differently. Kind regards, WVR

Like any other paths on a transport server you can move the transaction logs to another drive on the server, but since circular logging is enabled you will not gain much from this. Actually you should only have two transaction log files when circular logging is enabled. Did you perhaps disabel circular logging for the queue database?
