Hello all.
I work for a police agency that uses a computer aided dispatch system, on a private network. We would like to use Outlook to send emails from our CAD system to the regular department email. My IT guy is concerned that a virus may infect our seperate network if an email is received.

My question is, can we set this up to only send emails from an account, but never receive emails? if so, even if a malicious email is out there floating around, if we have no inbound, will it infect this seperate network?

Any ideas on how to secure this seperate network from any email attacks?

Any ideas or comments are welcomed.
