Guys I am looking for suggestions on an email archive and storage solution. It needs to be searchable and easy to administer. I have built my own up to now but do not have the time. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Thanks

G

A good one that is not too inexpensive and relatively easy to set up is GFI. However, there are many others.

Yes I have a demo copy and need to setup a box to run it on. Do you use it? If so what did you put it on and how do you like it.

Unfortunately I have not used these products, but there are others in this forum that have. I'm pretty sure they can provide some feedback.

I have used HP RISS and EMC Xtender. RISS is an appliance based solution and very expensive because of this. Xtender is a software based solution and can install on a Windows box. How big is your organization?

well the org is not that big but this is a law firm and I  need to be able to keep all the mail safely and search it when needed and be able to archive it up to seven years. The data base is over 24 gig. So I do need a good system. Cost is a factor but if it does what I need then it will be worth it.

Look into the GFI product and test it in a lab.
