Hi

I have come across a issue when creating new profiles for our Outlook 2003 clients. I get an error message "The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

I only get this message when pointing the profile to the Exchange Client Access Server in our environment. It works fine when I point the profile to a DC or our CCR cluster.

I can telnet port 25, ping etc the CAS server. Functionality of the server is correct includng OWA. No errors in event logs.

My question is, should I be able to point the profile to the CAS? Without going into too much detail, I need the profile to point to the CAS rather than the DC or the CCR cluster.

Hi,

I dont think that there is any way with the integration of outlook with cas. As mailbox server is responsible for handlink outlook anywhere. If there is any way i would be glad to know it.
