I have setup a new Windows 2000 SP4 machine and install MSE 5.5 SP4. When I try to run the Microsoft Exchange Performance Optimizer, it prompts me an error:

"The service's list of dependent services count no be enumerated - [800FF336]"

What does it mean?

If I click ok, it continues but I cannot move files probably due to this error. Any suggestions?

Found the error posted on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821543/. Just reinstall MSE to avoid getting fixes from Microsoft.

Stop the Exchange services on that box and then run the optimizer.

If not, you can manually move your logs and/or priv and pub databases, but you'll have to go into the registry and specify that paths that you moved them to in order to get the services to restart.
