I have recently inheritied an Exchange Server that is logging Event ID 3092 in the Application log every 5 mins.  The source is MSExchangeIS Public Store and the description is always:

Error 1129 occurred while processing a replication event.
Folder: (4-13) NON_IPM_SUBTREE\StoreEvents{5FCF9A41-F0F8-4790-9346-98B7AB8D6004}\globalevents

I've been digging around the Web for a resolution all day and I don't have a lot to go on.

In this post HotFix 936000 (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=936000) is mentioned - but the KB article refers to replication between Exchange 2003 and 2007.  This is not the case - would it help?

Also mentioned is a White Paper on resetting the computer account - but there are no specifics.  This may be applicable because this server was moved from one domain to another inside of this Forest.

I've also seen people recommend doing a Reset of the System Folders (http://forums.msexchange.org/m_190030200/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#190030200) using MS KB article 822444 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822444).

What are the ramifications of performing a Reset of the System Folders?  After the reading the article I noticed that it clearly states that any information in the System Folders will be lost - is that a big deal?

Does anyone have any guidance or additional information on this??

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

Have you increased diagnostic logging on Public folder replication? If yes then you might see these events. Just set to to none or default levels.

Its worth running isinteg fix on the PF store DB's.

Thanks for the info -

These events are occuring with Public Folder replication set to NONE

I ran ISINTEG -fix on the PF Store and there were 4 items that were repaired.  But, the errors did not go away.

Hi,

You CAN probably delete this folder and system will recreate it automatically.

See the link below.
