We just installed an Exchange front end server, and I've disabled the information store, as we don't need it.  However, in doing so, my event log is filling up with event ID 9175 from MSExchangeSA.  How to stop it from getting these event logs?

It's because the store still exists.  The system attendant will always try to log on to the first store on a server.  If you disable the information store and that store exists, it'll keep trying to log on to that store and throw that error.  If you start the Information Store, delete that store, then disable the Information Store, the error should go away.

Interesting, because that's what I did, dis-mounted the store, deleted the database and transaction log files and stopped and disabled the IS.

Hi,

Deleting the database does'nt mean that you have deleted the store, if you have deleted the Information store then it should not be listed in ESM.
If it is listed then you need to mount the store and then right click---->select and option to delete.
