After implementing and installing every documentable pre-requisite for EX2K7, the install stills hangs and leave this in the exchange setup.log Any leads greatly appreciated !! Some history would be helpful here. Is this a clean install or are there legacy versions of Exchange in the domain? Is the DNS configured correctly? Have you tried it on another machine? Are you using THE administrator account or an equivalent? Simon.

Simon, Using the domain administrator account, which is an "enterprise admin" member Clean install onto windows 2008 server std and we currently have an existing exchange 2007 std server SP1 running on win2003 ent R2 x64 SP2 in the same domain. Plan is to move all mail resources to new server. DNS is in order Exchange Setup passes the Readiness Check A-OK...that's the odd part. Appreciate the feedback! David

I will have to seek advice from elsewhere, however to be sure - you are using Exchange 2007 SP1 to install? You cannot use RTM media and then upgrade. Simon.
