Has anyone successfully migrated/replicated Exchange 2000 Public Folders to Exchange 2007?

The email migration was so simple, easy and fast that I almost couldn't believe it actually worked.  However Public Folders is fast taking away my momentary happiness.

I went through 300+ folders and added the E2K7 server as a Replication partner, I even ran some EMS commands to get the data to move to the new server but in 48+ hours, nothing has replicated (though the old server, says that I now have 2 replicas, the new PF Store is nowhere near 16GBs and the Public Folder list is showing none of the folders on the new server)

This seems to be the biggest complaint about E2K7 that I have found on the web but I am not finding anyone that has actually figured out how to make it work.

Any help would be greatly apprectiated!

ps: We totally expected the migration to break our Avaya Modular Messaging but by some miracle it is still working and I even dismounted the old mailbox store....We are on MM 1.1 and have spent over a month trying to get MM 3.1 or 4.0 and it turnes out we didn't need to worry about it.....just a heads up for everyone
