Does anyone know how to exptend the Expiration date of Exchange 2000 beta without re-installing the software?

If you are using any of the RC versions, I believe it is 6 months. I don't know for beta. It usuall states when the product expires in the readme file that comes on the media.

You'll have to have the RC2 installation handy.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD BACKUP

Just run setup.exe but with a DisasterRecovery switch. i.e. setup.exe /DisasterRecovery

Exchange will begin to setup. Basically this resets the the time dll.

Once This porcess is complete. Restart your machine. Verify that the proper services have started then go into Exchange System Manager. Expand the server so you can see the Information Stores. You will see that they are NOT mounted. Right mouse click on the Information Store and manually mount the store.

Exchange will now be alive again. You will have to manually mount the stores each time to re-boot (hopefully, not that often).
