We tried installing exchange 2003 sp2 on a server. It gets to the part where it is installing the Activesync sub componet and it fails everytime. If you cancel this part of the install everything else installs fine. The only problem is that we have some smart phones that we are going to be using up there and they need to sync with exchange. Does anyone have an idea on what we can do to remedy this problem?

*note we installed sp2 on 3 servers without any issues at all.

Any help is appreciated as my boss wants this done . ASAP

Are you using a Back End /Front End Exchange setup?
If so, did you do all the Front End servers first?
Have you looked at the Exchange install log files for any clues?
