I'm in the process of migrating our Exchange 2003 Org to Exchange 2010. I now have CAS, HT and Mailbox roles installed and the upgrade of the Org seems to have gone pretty well. I'm now in the process of migrating my mailboxes and Public Folders. We do still have a few users on Outlook 2003, so I need to be certain that some of the System Folders in PF get replicated and moved before I drop the Exchange 2003 boxes. I have setup PF replication in ESM and setup the scheduling to Always Run and urgent on the priority. However, even after several days, a few of the OAB folders are still showing as Remote Modified or Local Modified. This is true for Schedule+ folders as well. Some of them went to In Sync pretty quickly but I cannot get the others to do anything else. I have not changed the OAB generation server to my Exchange 2010 yet as I wanted to make certain that the replication had completed first.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. And I'm not seeing any event log errors in 2003 or 2010.

Yep. After I gave them a few days, I checked the total item count between the two replication partners and then simply performed a move replica from 2003 to 2010. All worked well.

Well I'm stuck. On my test migration, I ran the \AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 script and added the replicas when viewed in PF Mgmt console on the 2010 box.

Then I added a replica via the same console for System folders EFORMS REGISTRY, OFFLINE ADDRESS BOOK, SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY and their subfolders. No errors reported.

In ESM on the 2003 I see no replicas. On a OL2003/2007 client for someone who is on the Exc2010 server, I see the PF hierarchy but no messages!

Plus there is no Free/Busy info of a Exc2003 attendee when trying to creating a meeting req. I can however open that Exc2003 user calendar. Seeing Free/Busy info of another Exc2010 seems to be no issue.

When logged in with a Exc2003 user, I cannot see Free/Busy of a Exc2010 attendee. I can open their calendar however.

Any guidance would be appreciated. Yeah, still hating PFs!

Geez...now I'm trying the "Move All Replicas" from both 2003 ESM and then from Exc2010 from the Shell and nothing at all happens!
