Hello,

I have a question regarding CAS replacing an Exchange 2003 front end server.

I inherited an infrastructure that has two DC's running 2003 server which I know need to be upgraded. Additionally, there are two Exchange 2003 servers, one front end server and an ISA 2006 publishing OWA and EAS. Everything is running on separate physical machines.

There is already one Exchange 2007 sever up and sunning with some mailboxes that have been moved to it. Those users do not use OWA or EAS. I am looking for the best least disruptive way to retire the 2003 front end server and point ISA to 2007 CAS.

All the 2007 roles are running on the same machine. We only have several hundred users and the servers hardware is heavily spec’d so there shouldn’t be any issues with the configuration.

Thanks in advance everyone.
