Hi All, The logs in "Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\Logs\AgentLog" appear to be behind for at least 1/2 hour. This makes it difficult to troubleshoot. Any idee what is going on ?, any advise on how to monitor realtime incomming processed (correct and failed) e-mail. Thanks, Victor

How high is the traffic through your server? I have just checked my home server (which is quiet) and the log stamp is about five minutes old. Checking a busier server it is a little more behind, probably due to caching. Message tracking logs are what was traditionally used. Simon.

Traffic is not high, but the caching must be the reason. I think the option is just not there. We are migrating from lotus Domino. I think we were spooled with having "the console logging". In Domino we could see live what is going on. In case of problems this is very handy. However Exchange will have other features ...

There is nothing like that in Exchange. You can see some information using Perfmon. The closest I can come up with is Spotlight on Exchange from Quest, but that maybe too expensive for you. Simon.
