You need to look at your email address policies. If you haven't changed them from the default then all users will get an email address in both domains. If you change them so that there are separate policies for both domains then use something on the user account to control which address they get an email address for, then you will not get a clash. At a basic level you could simply turn off the setting to allow email address polices to control the email address on the user account and then remove the address you want to assign to another user. However long term it will be better to get your email address policies setup correctly. Simon.

You are confusing usernames with email addresses. They can be different. If you need two users to have an email address of john, but in different domains, then you create the user accounts as john1 and john2 or john.domain1 and john.domain2. When the accounts are created assign the email addresses manually or configure the email address policy to assign email addresses based on values other than the user name. Simon.

The Active Directory username has nothing to do with the email address, unless your email address policy is configured to use the username. Therefore you just need to decide on what method you will use to separate two users with the same name etc when creating the accounts. Whether this is through ADUC or the New User wizard in EMC at the point of entering the username. Simon.
