Exchange 2007 Setup in Notes scenario

I have the follwoing requirment from my csutomer who is JV of a corpA.

Current Scenario:
  1. CorpA has its own AD/Forest and Fully on Notes Messaging.
  2. JV use CorpA's notes system now.
  3. JV admin do not have any admin rights on CorpA's AD/Forest
  4. CorpA may not willing to modify its schema as they plan to use notes for long time
JV's Requirment:
  1. JV wants to go ahead with Exchange 2007 deployment independantly.
  2. and migrate all its notes mailboxes (which is still part of CorpA's notes system)
My Questions:
  1. What is the best way for this scenario?
  2. Setup a new AD/Forest, install exchange 2007?
Concerns:
  1. JV is still required to be part of CorpA's messaging infrastrucure irrespective of exchange 2007.
  2. How to accomplish this?
Greatly appreciate your answers on this..Also, if someone can shed some lights by showing relevant docments online, it would be really helpful. Thank you

Status: offline 		You do need to do a lot of research here as the answer is a lot to put into one free forum like this.

In short form you need a new forest. Don't mess about with CorpA's forest, it's not worth the hassle and anyway, nearly all JVs fail within five years so you're almost guaranteed to be taking your forest away with you.

And for migration and co-existence information you should go to the Tech Center on microsoft.com. You will need the Transporter Suite as well as a full printer.

What are the permissions required at the CorpA level (in terms of AD & LN Servers). For example,

  1. To move our users back to JV's forest from CorpA forest
  2. To move users data from CorpA's lotus notes server to JV's new Exchange 2007
  3. What type of AD trust we should establish between CorpA and JV Forest
