Exchange 2003 server removed years ago. Exchange 2007 running and profile analyzer still sees 2003 server? nslookup only sees 2007 server and only place I found a record for old server was AD member servers, removed it. How do I get profile analyzer to stop seeing 2003 server?

after more digging... powershell shows public folder replicas pointing to both the 2003 and 2007 servers. need to know how to remove just the 2003 server part. also public folder database points to 2007 and public folder store points to 2003??

Using adsiedit I see the old server in CN=Servers, do I just delete it?

Sounds like the 2003 server was never decommissioned - it was simply removed from the domain and this is causing your issue. You can delete the server object from ADSIEdit and then you will need to make sure you change the SiteFolderServer values for the public folder too (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996485%28v=exchg.80%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396)

SiteFolderServer values and puplic folder values are the same already for (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996485%28v=exchg.80%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396) If I look at adsiedit under CN=Administrative Groups I have CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF232SPDLT) with CN=Server, CN=Mail4 This is my 2007 Server Also there is a CN=HQ with CN=Server, CN=Mail3 This is my old 2003 Server This one also has CN=Advanced Security, CN=Folder Hierarchies, CN=Policies, CN=Routing Groups, CN=Servers If I use Exchange Management Console there isn't anything listed anywhere for Mail3

Should I do that too??
