Hi, Exchange 2010 was running fine from the last 2 months but suddenly some users reporting that mail which they can see from OWA is not visible in outlook 2010. However when i send a new email it is showing in the outlook 2010 inbox but let say the old email which are still in the mailbox are not visible in outlook 2010 client.

I deleted the ost and recreated the profile but still the problem is same. Even restarted both CAS\HUB server but problem still persists.
Even created a new profile from another machine but sill the same problem.
I have 2 mailbox server and 2 CAS\HUB servers.

Any solutions to the above will be much appreciated.

Since you arleady nuked and rebuilt their profiles there is little point for me offer this suggestion, but verify there are no view filters configured on their Outlook client. I had a similar issue in the past where an issue was escalated to the server team because emails were disappearing. The problem was the user set Outlook to display only unread messages. A group policy could be configuring Outlook view options.

Let us know what you find out.

Hi,

Does the user have a lot of extra mailboxes? In some cases it might happen that the throttle policy will be activated which can cause strange issues but in this case an event log will be written to the event log. What happens if you give the user a new mailbox?
