Hi

this may not be for this forum, but i am trying to configure Windows Server Backup (2008R2) for a simple file/folder

the backup window shows Running Consistency Check for application Exchange, anyone know if this is normal even though i have not selected exchange

I am aware it will say this for a while due to Exchange logs

Thanks

WSB is volume based. Even if you set it for only a single folder/file, WSB will still do what it thinks it needs to do.

IME, if you have Exchange on the box you are going to see the consistency check.

If you are facing backup problem you can actually try using the different backup solution for it. I am basically using "Ahsay backup" for taking backup . It helps in taking backup and helps restoring also.
