Dear all, Im finding conflicting info on the net about this.
Does Windows Server 2008 Backup, backup Exchange 2010 database?
I am under the impression that it will back it up as part of the entire package but to recover it would mean recovering the entire volume. Right? Wrong? Help :)

Yes it will back it up, and yes it means recovering the entire volume. However you can recover it either over the top of the existing database, or you can recover it to an alternate location and mount it as a Recovery Database to do per-mailbox or per-item restores.
