We are running Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007. Two Exchange 2007 users can no longer logon their mailbox using MAPI. They can using OWA and if I give another user full mailbox access this user has no problem logging on using MAPI.

A new Outlook 2003 profile gives same error and a new NT profile does also give same error. I have 35 users running on Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2003 without problems.

SELF mailbox permission is granted full mailbox access and read rights. If I using Outlook 2003 use my Exchange service account which has access to all mailboxes then I can open the two users mailboxes. When I am logged on as the two users MFCMAPI gives error 0x8004011D when I click on the mailbox.

If I move the two mailboxes to Exchange 2003 Outlook works again and if I move the two mailboxes to Exchange 2007 the problem comes back. I have tried disable-mailbox and then connect-mailbox. Still same problem. External associated Account is not set when I look at mailbox rights and msExchMasterAccountSID is not set.

Any good ideas?

Many thanks to you. By following the article and running "Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED" the problem disappeared instantaneous.
