Hello Everyone,

I have a mail server setup with Exchange 5.5 and it is being flooded with spam. Recently, I purchased Symantec's AV SMTP for Gateways. I am trying to setup a SMTP Server with this Symantec sofware but I am running into problems. After configuring the SMTP server, I am unable to have it communicate with my Exchange 5.5 server. Any help about how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Need more information:

Are the both running on the same server?

If yes: we can cover that

If no: Are they on the same network ?
Is there a DMZ / firewall bewteen them?
Does telnet to port 25 of your exchange
server from the Norton host work?
