Hello

I have TMG install on a member server, i found out that i can install Exchange 2010 edge on the same server and it is a support configuration. now my question is, the exchange 2010 edge is meant to be installed on a server that is in a workgroup and ADLS must be install, but what if the edge transport role is being installed on a tmg server that is part of a domain

Please help, i know is a simple question but i just want to iron any issues out before i begin

Nick,

The Edge is meant to be placed in a DMZ and not to be a member of the domain because this would create a security issue. This because when using ADLDS only a selective part of the AD is copied while adding it as a member will give full access to the AD.
