Hello,

Anybody knows how can I tell which version of the Exchange 5.5 installed? I need to know if it is Standard or Enterprise.

The Exchange shows: Version 5.5 (Build 2653.23: Service Pack 4).

I have another server 5.5 Standard and must make an upgrade to 5.5 Enterprise but do not have the CD for installation. Any suggestions.

hi,

Whenever you start exchange service. i.e Microsoft Exchange information store service, you notice the event id: 1216 or 1217

1216 : Exchange standard version
1217 : enterprise version

Go to eventvwr -> filter for 1216 then see if you are not able to see this event then search for 1217.

Moreover in standard Exchange Administrator console i guess you won't see X.400 option and in enterprise you can see it (but i am not sure) because i know there will be one connector which is not supported from 5.5 standard version
