I am running Server 2000, with Exchange 2000, and we had a power outage during the backup, and now exchange is trashed. I have used the eseutil before and always had good luck, but this time if I run any of the /r, /p, or anything else on the priv1.edb, I get JET_errFileIOBeyondEOF. Can someone please help me with this, This server is a customers, it is Multiple Sclerosis Society Arizona Chapter server, and I must recover the data. I have a recent backup, but the store will not mount, so I cannot restore it. Thanks in advance to all......

Hi Dhorton
It looks like the database cannot be repaired
If u have good backup then create new mdbdata and restore the back up and replay the restore.env file

if u r going for hard repair i,e eseutil /p, /d and isinteg and when you try to run eseutil /p if it throws an error then try with eseutil /p <priv1.edb> /i and also follow the procedure given below 2. a. Run Eseutil /p "<Full path to Priv1.edb>" /i b.Repeat the same for Pub1.edb & Remove all log files and checkpoint file from mdbdata . c.Run Eseutil /d "<Full path to Priv1.edb>" d.Repeat the same for Pub1.edb e.Mount the Stores and then dismount them. NOTE: If you attempt to run Isinteg without mounting the stores the following error is logged: "Isinteg cannot initiate verification process. Please review the log file for more Information." f. Run Isinteg -s <servername> -pri -fix -test alltests g. Repeat for Pub
