Hi - One of our exchange servers has a public SSL certificate with a different server name to that of the machine. (We use this one for OWA - and has a legacy public name).

However every now and again users receive errors that the certificate name is incorrect.

Is there an easy way of rectifing this so the security warnings do not appear?

Server internal (Machine)name = SVR-EX2
Server external (Certificate )name = EXOWA@.....

Research this: http://www.digicert.com/subject-alternative-name.htm which is available from dozens of vendors.
You get one certificate but it has several names such as "autodiscover" and the short name of the system and the long name as well as say "email.domain" and "smtp.domain" etc. etc.
