Hi all,

I have 4 Domain Controller and 1 Exchange Server2003.
The first domain controller that hold FSMO role failed. I used the SIEZE command to make a new FSMO.
The information store and MTA services did not start on the exchage server.
What to do in this case?
Thank you in advace for your help.

This new CG was promoted after this disater.
In the events view, it mention that:
inetinfo.exe(PID=1292). no DS servers in the domain respond.
When I lunch the "Exchange System Manager" i receice the following message:
Server is not operational
Installation:Win32
Error ID:8007203a

If I lunch Users & Ordinaor Active Directory, I receive this message:
Nam information can not be found because: this domain deos not exist or can not be contacted.

What FSMO roles have you seized?

You should be able to locate:

Schema master
Domain Naming master

PDC emulator
Infrastructure Master
RID Master

Have you run a netdiag on your network?

Try running exchange best practice analzyer it will run some diagnostic tests for you to see if all your roles are up and running, dns tests, dcaccess etc. You can post the findings back here.
