Hi all,

I am setting up a new business on a very shoestring (think near zero!) budget. Have managed to get hold of a cheap 2nd hand copy of SBS 2003, a free old server etc and am planning setup. The organisation is only going to have 2 client pcs (both old and free) initially, so think small =)

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any FREE software to use on Exchange for anti-spam (apart from IMF), anti-virus, and if possible, letting me add disclaimers to all outbound emails (worst case will figure out and use VB solution from MS). Am putting AVG on the clients.

Ideally I would use something like Sophos, but have zero budget. I envisage having to use any free solution till the end of 2008.

Thanks in advance,
Rajiv

Try this...

Get a free Google Appliance account.
Set it up
Point your MX to Google Appliance.
Setup POP3
Collect mail via POP3 from Google from SBS

Google will provide Anti-spam and AV.
