Is possible to add permissions to a Distribution list in the GAL. Here is the situation. I added a Distribution list in Active Directory Users and Computers. I added members and made it mailbox enabled so the users in my organization can send email to the list. It shows up in my GAL. The problem is anyone in outlook can open the list properties and add or remove the members and I donÆt want them to do that. Any suggestions.

By default the ability to add and remove members does not reside with everyone. What permissions are applied to the group?
