Going from GroupWise 8 on the server, 7.0 client, to Exchange 2010, OWA primarily, Outlook 2010 on admin PCs. Using QUEST to migrate the data.

I need to deal with shared folders. Users have shared folders in GW. Quest will either migrate the rights or the folder to the recipient's account (you can do both if you rerun the migration).

My question, is how do you transition folks away from Shared Folders when going to Exchange? It's very different and using OWA complicates matters. I'd be interested to hear from other people who've migrated from GroupWise to Exchange.

Another simple and globally used Groupwise to Exchange migration tool is:http://groupwise-exchange.blogspot.com/

The tool supports all versions of Novell Groupwise and MS Exchange Server.
