Dear all.

My company currently runs GroupWise in several countries all sharing
address books and Rx/Sx mail via the GroupWise MTA's site links etc.

Each of these sites runs it's own domain company.com companyuk.com
companyhk.com etc etc. The Domain or PO in each location is independent and locally administered but they 'hook' into each others address book and use site links.

Companyuk.com is moving to Exchange. (my company)

What do I need to tell the GroupWise admin's to look out for and what do they need to change to ensure mail to and from companyuk.com still gets through.

Also has anybody ccreated a link between a GroupWise System Address book and an Exchange Server for addressing only - if so how or with what do you do it.

Finally what products (if any) have people used to Migrate mail from a GW account to an Exchange Accout? I've read about Quest but it's quite expensive so I'd be interested in any others.

Thanks Rob

Hi Rob,

I think I might be able to help you with one of your questions regarding GroupWise to Exchange migration.

I would recommend giving Messaging Architects a look. They offer toolsets for GroupWise 7.x & 8.x to Exchange 2003/2007.

Hope this helps,

Pete

Now it has become easy to migrate all GroupWise data to MS Exchange server efficiently and quickly with the help of a third party Groupwise to Exchange Migration applications. One such tool  is here:http://groupwise-exchange.blogspot.com/
This easy to use software helps the users to easily move from Novell groupwise environment to MS Exchange server. This tool extracts all user mailboxes from GroupWise and save them into individual .pst files. The converted PST file can be easily imported into Exchange Server.
