Let me preface this by saying I have read both articles by Henrik in regards to wnlb. I even liked them so much as well as the article on ccr I purchased the book and had it overnighted. My scenario is a Mailfoundry system setting at the perimeter network scrubbing all mail. I get how would set it up if I had just one HT. My problem is not understanding if it would work if I configured smtp 25 on the inbound wnlb cluster. So if i point the Mailfoundry box to the wnlb address and I took one of the HT's down I would still receive email to the mailbox servers. Could someone please try to help me out with this scenario. Thanks a lot, Chad

Yes if you point the MailFoundry system to the FQDN specified in the WNLB configuration, then inbound messages will be load balanced, and if one HT server is down be delivered to the one that's online.

Henrik, thanks for the reply. in you post on wnlb for cas, you state to disable 25 on the wnlb? does this hold true for the scenario?? the only way i can get it to work is if i remove the disabled 25 from the rules. thanks in advance. chad
