I am setting up exchange 2003 to run on a single server. I am going to use an xseries 345 server with dual xeon processors.

I have a raid-1 configured for system and boot files. I have a second controller with raid5 for exchange *.edb,*.stm, and *.log files. Is this a bad idea to put all this on a Raid 5 Array? I would like to have my log files separate from this array, but unfortunately money is an issue. How would you guys suggest setting it up on a single server?
