I have a bit of an interesting question. My company recently purchased exchange 2007 for our office, but have been approached by quite a few clients to host their information as well. We went through a bit of a test phase to see if it was feasible...testing connectivity, bandwidth usage, allowing users to login @theirdomain.com, and the ability to segregate the companies address book and all from each other. Everything has worked perfectly except one small problem, we cannot mask the server name when doing an Exchange over https implementation. Does anyone know if this is even possible. The goal here is to have users go to enter the server name mail on the first page, and the rest is setup through the exchange over https. The servername however then discovers its domain name as well, which we do not want to display. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do not even try. If you don't have the proper hosting stuff that Microsoft sells which sits in front of the Exchange you're going to make a horrible mess of your AD and your Exchange. You will fail, badly, to create GALs for your customers and you're going to get yourself into SMTP address hell. If you are not a hosting organisation you really have no business trying. Choose the right tools for the right job and outta-da-box Exchange 2007 is not that tool.
