What are you trying to accomplish?

You could set up a mailbox to receive mail and assign permissions to the folders you wish other users to review.

You could set up a public folder and give users review permissions as well as Send As permissions. If you need to track Sent Items you could create a custom form that CC:'s another PF.

Your solution depends on what you want to do.

We want to prevent some users to delete their inbox and sent items. Setting these settings on client side is no use as they will remove these settings. So if it can be accomplished from server side this would be perfect. Pls keep in mind that the users have "normal" mailboxes.

I couldn't resist... My problem is to convince people to delete items, not to keep them. If I want to keep mail I have it sent to Public folders with the correct permissions, but that's more about changing a business process than technical. It also has a lot of advantages because it is not affected by staff changes.

Hi
I think you are worried about some of your users who might delete the mails that they received and claim that that didn't receive such a mail, right?
If you want to do some regulatory procedure to prevent that, you can do it in some other way. One way is to enable message journaling so you can keep track of all the messages coming in and going out of your exchage site or organization.
The second is, if you want to do this to only a few number of users, you can copy ( through alternate receipient option in mailbox properties) all the mails coming in to these mailboxes in to someother account(Such as administrator account) but in either case those mailbox users will loose their privacy.
Cheers
Rahal
