Hi Guys,

I have another issue again on client access.

The scenario is this :
I have a server running Client access, Hub transport, Mailbox, etc. This server uses a local IP address and it within my organization.
I have another server running just Edge transport with Public IP address.
Mail flow is ok but my challange is how to configure the External URL of the owa.
By default, the internal URL(https://server1/owa) works within the organization.

Can somebody tell me what the external url will be? could it be something like(https://edgeserver/owa) of do i need to do some configuration in the edge server.

Please prove steps.

Thanks in anticipation.

We're not so much in the market for providing steps, more for providing a path to elightenment.
So, you know where the internal URL box is on the CAS settings. It's also got an external address option there. Put that in there/
Then install an external certificate as normal and apply it to the website that you're exposing to the Internet. You don't need additional sites (necessarily) and you don't need an external IP address.

There are several unanswered questions in terms of certificates. You have some reading to do:

If you want some steps you can look at:

Hi,

External URL should be your external web URL and /OWA. for example it should look like this.
https://mail.contoso.com/owa

This external URL should be registerd with your ISP with a Public IP.

Thanks,
Suda
