Hi,

OK I have been planning to migrate my exch2000 to exch2007, thought I will prepare my self with if disaster strikes,

First question I have is how do I restore my exch2000 back to previous state if migration fails? I am using veritas backup.

if you give needed steps and order to perform would really appreciate,

I don't actually understand what you're trying to do.
You have to install a new box and install 64bit Exchange on it.
You will test it out with test mailboxes and do backups and test restores.
Only when you're totally happy that it's ok and you're procedures for backup and recovery are sorted out will you move the mailboxes.
You will move the mailboxes a few at a time.
If the move of a mailbox fails Exchange will roll it back. The mail in the original location is only marked as deleted/removed if the move has been successful.
