Hello all

I am new is using exchange server. Currently I am using exchange 2003. I can take back and do restore of mailbox database by NTBACKUP and Recovery Storage Group. But unfortunately Recovery Storage Group doesn't support Public folder to restore. I can take  backup of public folders by NTBACKUP. But I am unable to restore it by NTBACKUP. It will be great pleasure for me if anyone help me in restoring Public folders in safe way.

Thanks and regards
Nasif Bin Shafi

Yes. Establish a copy of your AD Forest and restore a PF into an Exchange server in it. Take a backup of your Schema Master and your Exchange server. Create a copy of Windows (preferably in a VM to save real hardware) and do an authoritative restore. Then do the same with Exchange.

If you're expecting to do this more often than once you might want to invest in a copy of Recovery Manager from Quest.
