I have a requirement we are running an application for our customer with in our network.
This application sends an email to our Exchange 2007 server and we are supposed to forward these emails to customer's SMTP server (smart host).
I can configure a receive connector where application will send the email to our exchange server but I don't know how to route the emails from receive connector to a particular send connector which will be configured to send the emails to smart host.

Setup/Environment

Site-A: This site hosting application for customer but has no public internet connectivity.
Site-B: This site is hosting our Exchange 2007 server. It has public connectivity. It is connected to Site-A via VPN.
Site-C: This is the site where customer had their own Mail server (smart host) connected to public internet.

Mail-Flow:
A. Application at site-A will send an email to Exchange 2007 located at site-B (on port 2525).
B. Exchange 2007 at site-B will receive the email and route it to smart host at site-C
C. Smart host at site-C will distribute to rest of the world.

My Thoughts:
1. I will configure a receive connector which will listen on port 2525 (recieve-connector-2525)
2. I will configure a send connector which will route the emails to a smart host (send-connector-smarthost)
3. Any mail received by recieve-connector-2525 will be routed to send-connector-smarthost

I need help with step # 3

Have a look at RouteBySender http://www.ivasoft.com/routebysender.shtml tool.
