Our two companies recently merged and we have to set up a one way trust between the two domains A and B. So that end users on Domain b can get to the resources on Domain A. So what we did was Domain A trusting domain B (trusted). Domain A has the exchange server. So what we did was recreate all end users from Domain B in Domain A; then with the one way trust allowing the end user ID on B to access the email account on Domain A. The end result was that end users can receive the foward email from Domain B to Domain A end users account. But when the end user try to send email from Domain A to B they get an error indication that they don't have permission. Do I need to set up a new connector to route from Domain A to B? If so, I am not sure how to set that up correctly.

If your only goal was to get Email back and forth, you didn't have to do anything. You could have allowed the mail to be delivered via the Internet like any other message.

I think what you're wanting has less to do with mail routing, and more about seeing the user names across the two organizations.

If I'm correct about that, please read through this article found here at MSExchange.org.
